Inspiring Reads

I wanted to offer a quick round up of inspiring reads.

I just learned about the Stupski foundation that is in spend down mode and plans to completely close their doors in 2029. They’re doing a lot to talk about philanthropy and why “Change Can’t Wait”; https://stupski.org/change-cant-wait-blog/

Second, Brian Boland is a member of our community who was early at Facebook and gave an impassioned speech at our Summit in 2024. This post about why he had just deleted facebook was a very powerful reminder of what’s happening in our world (that I often don’t think about). https://www.delta-fund.org/post/deleting-facebook

Finally, this week’s CAC Daily meditations I was inspired by these two:

Tuesday
Self-love is the foundation of our loving practice. Without it our other efforts to love fail.
—bell hooks

Wednesday
There’s nothing passive about love. Love is active, creative, daring, public nonviolence that resists all the forces of death.
—John Dear

Screenshot of the Stupski Foundation's 'Change Can't Wait' webpage, highlighting their commitment to sharing insights and feedback about their grantmaking and spending down strategy.
